We give no consent to tyranny
since we have an inclination for justice, We only work for the love of Allah,
and we strictly pay attention to His orders, We are the wise whose hearts reflect
the ecstasy of the whole world,
You never suppose that we do not
take any heed of the jollity of the wind.
Since we, o Adlee, started to talk
in feelings of love of Allah
We have always been utterly sincere
and talked only for goodness.

His name of Mehmed (or Muhammed) had been given by his grandfather Solyman the Lawgiver so that he would take after the Sultan Muhammed the Conqueror. The time of Mehmed the Third was the era of the beginning of the decline of the Great Ottoman Empire. In fact, in that era, the Ottomans conceded a great quantity of the citadels to the European countries. After the Grand Vizier, Kodja Sinan Pasha, was vanquished against the enemy forces, Muhammed the Third started a mobilization personally and won the Hachova Battle against the European countries and took the Citadel of Eghri ; for that reason, he was sometimes mentioned in the history books as the Conqueror of Eghri.
In that time, Ottoman-Russian struggles began anew. Some Viziers' and savants' unfair protection and recommendation many an incapable men as being qualified to the Emperor caused the Padishah and the Empire be in troubles and crisis.
Sultan Mehmed the Third fought also with the mutineers such as Djelal, and meanwhile, great losses of land was striking the basis of the Great Empire. The famous defense of Kanije was achieved by Tiriaki Hassan Pasha in that era. Sultan Muhammed Khan expired in 1603 in his early manhood (May Allah have mercy upon his soul!)

Sultan Mehmed Khan was also a poet, and he wrote under the pseudonym of Adlee.
Among the leading members of the Succession of the Descendants of Nakshibend, Their Exalted Holinesses Mawlana Mohammad Hadjegee Emkengee and Muhammed Bakee Billakh, the poet Bald, Hashimee Othman Effendi, Hassan Chelebi Effendi, the writer of the Tezkire ( Letter), were the noted Muslem savants of the era of the Sultan lSrlehemed Khan.
